This page exists because it keeps happening: a coach watches River Youth with another program and wants the same thing for his own locker room. So here it is. We come to your school, on your practice schedule, and give your athletes twenty minutes that will outlast the season. It costs your program nothing.

Maybe it was a rival's field house, a pre-game huddle, or an event your students wouldn't stop talking about. River Youth has been showing up for Tampa Bay teenagers since 2007, and school teams became part of that because coaches kept pulling us aside afterward and asking the same question.

It runs like a drill
Tight, scheduled, and over before it wears out its welcome. You know your team's time is precious. So do we.
You pick the slot
Before practice, after practice, game day, banquet night. Locker room, gym floor, or the bleachers. We work around your calendar and your facility, not the other way around.
A leader talks straight
Fifteen minutes on the things that decide seasons and follow your athletes home. Pressure. Brotherhood. Who they are when the scoreboard's off. It's the Gospel, and we won't pretend otherwise. We bring it in a language a locker room respects.
Whistle
We pray with anyone who wants prayer, and then we clear out. You have a team to run, and a visit that ends on time is a visit that gets invited back.
The follow-up
Athletes who want more get pointed to River Youth on Wednesday nights at 7, where some of their classmates already are. Teams that want a rhythm set up game-day visits for the season.
01. Your room
You're present the entire visit, and you can call it off at any point. It's your team. We never forget we're guests.
02. Players opt in
Nobody gets cornered. An athlete who'd rather stretch, lift, or sit in the hallway is free to, no questions and no side-eye.
03. Zero cost
We cover ourselves. Your program never sees a bill, an offering bucket, or a fundraiser pitch. This is our ministry to your athletes, full stop.

Led by people who've done this since 2007
River Youth is the student ministry of The River at Tampa Bay Church, led by Pastor Allen and Pastor Kristin Hawes for almost two decades. The team around them runs deep: trained leaders who work with teenagers every single week. One of those leaders makes your first call and runs your team's visit.
Your roster probably isn't new to us either. Students from schools all over Tampa Bay are already part of River Youth, which is usually how coaches hear our name in the first place.
